Major D3 Update looks to be aimed for Summer 2010
I usually try and get a sense of developmental standing every 3 months on the direction the game is going with mark and co. So far it seems most major progression is being developed eventhough it may seem like all production has stagnated in the last few months.

-I built more of the structure between worlds, their relationships, and the interface. I'm considering structuring it so that all of the things I'm working on are packed into one "overworld" where Delta3 occupies all of the starmap. That way, as I add new areas, I can do them one at a time, and link them in without it feeling like there are huge gaping holes in the game in the interim.

-By dividing Delta3 into 9 parts, I can put a station in each part, and have a relationship between them. Players will probably have to explore an area and make contact with the station before being able to warp to their location (using the warp map and clicking on that sector).

-I am adding about 12 planets, and making objects that are clickable for access to special areas on Delta3. What I mean is, there is a "Burn" object that you can find just by walking around, and "land" on it to enter The Burn.

-The Allied Command planet will probably be where Udra is now, and people can use a liftoff button to get from AC up into space. This part of the reworking is for the few users who get stuck on AC for 20 minutes the first time they play (one of the developers of Diablo was such a user ;>).

-I tried to make Nexus assets overlap with what I need for D3 as much as possible. Harbingers are related to a storm event in D3, Supply Ships, Transports, Gates, etc. serve functions in events. I am also writing the missions.

Armada Online Update Coming
Earlier, Mark released news on an upcoming update to the exciting and successful MMO, Armada Online (alpha-release).
I've been working on D3 revisions.
I prepared an update for Nexus, the addition of new mats, and a new elite.
Due to a loss of net access and a trip, we can't update until next week.

Sector: Delta 3, or "D3" as stated above, is one of the center-points for Captains to keep the Armada infestation under control. The long-awaited and ongoing request to set top priority to revise D3 is looking favorable, though at this time it remains unclear what revisions to the sector will be brought about.

One of the recent expansions of Armada Online brought us Nexus. It created new ways for today's Captain-on-the-go to harvest experience and resources. It is good to see that Nexus will not go unnoticed and receive proper attention.

With many Captains mastering the art of crafting and reaching the threshold of ever-glorified 'perfect items', the addition of new components will bring forth more fruitful and battle-worthy results.

Overall, there are apparent and extensive efforts being taken to enhance Armada Online. An evermore immersive game-play strengthens and propagates the flourishing community.
Though the recent data loss of the forums was a rough knockdown, the developers are pushing forward to rebuild and move on.
It is obvious nothing will stand in the way of advancement - not even the Armada.
